August Issue Explores "Art and Creativity"

LOS ANGELES, CA, August 25, 2000 – SoulfulLiving.com, an award-winning, monthly guide to personal growth and spiritual development, announces today that it will add marketing consulting services to its soulful offerings, in celebration of its August "Art and Creativity" issue. Aptly named "The Creative Soul," the new branch will feature the creative marketing services of the founder and "Creative Soul" of SoulfulLiving.com, Valerie Rickel.

Ms. Rickel specializes in marketing to the emerging culture of Cultural Creatives, a community of 50 million people, whose lifestyles reflect traits that include self-actualization, spiritual transformation, self-expression, ecological sustainability, and the value of the feminine. As the creator of SoulfulLiving.com, she has spent the past year applying her seven years of marketing and public relations experience to the many challenges of launching and building a unique soulful business.

"Recognition from our community, complimentary media exposure, and the growth of SoulfulLiving.com have been very gratifying," she says. "Now that Soulful Living is well established, I have decided to honor several requests from the community and offer my creative marketing talents as a ‘Virtual Marketing Executive’ to soulful businesses and professionals wishing to target the growing consumer market of Cultural Creatives."

The Creative Soul will offer both online and offline marketing solutions, including: advertising, communications, publicity, promotion, strategic planning, website design and concept development, logo and trademark design, computer graphic design, desktop publishing, sponsorship/partnership development and negotiation, community relations, event/seminar promotion and coordination, research, promotional copy writing, and website hosting and maintenance.

Launched January 1, 2000, SoulfulLiving.com was named "Site of the Week" in May by the Los Angeles Business Journal and is featured this month in Health Magazine’s "Alternative Health News." It is also the feature of an interview with Salle Merrill Redfield this month at www.CelestineVision.com.

SoulfulLiving.com brings an oasis for healing and joy to the Internet each month, as it explores unique themes of soulful interest, with best-selling authors and highly regarded experts, in a peaceful and meaningful, online environment. The August issue invites visitors to explore "Art and Creativity" with six creativity experts, who offer practical advice and techniques for "expressing your creative soul." August’s expert contributors include:

Dana Reynolds, visual artist, author, and workshop leader, who has been facilitating women’s spiritual workshops and retreats nationwide for the last ten years. Her work as a Spiritual Midwife, one who assists women as they birth their creative gifts into the world, is the foundation of all her endeavors.
