When We Meditate with Feeling

Meditation while feeling the emotions we want to propagate is a very effective means of using "dreamtime".
When we, like an actor, dig around and find within us the emotions (peace? passion? compassion?) that we want to feel more often, or to "send" to others, or witness more around us, it works like a tuning fork. On subtle levels, we consciously vibrate to a certain frequency of
our choice, and then we not only make it more likely that WE will habitually feel this way, but we draw this "frequency range" to us.
In this way we help to create our reality, the the collective reality.
You remember Gandhi's famous quote: "Be the change you want to see in the world."
This is, I believe, one of the noblest applications of the technique of meditation. Try it, try regularly recalling and "feeding yourself" the essence of what you are seeking to create.
If it's happiness, recall a setting or a time you felt happy. If you've never felt the level of happiness that you want to feel, make up a setting or event in which you'd feel great (trust your best guesses), and keep picturing and imagining it. Let the emotions build. Or
listen to sounds or make sounds or hear music that makes you feel wonderful. Use your senses to "create" in your mind the sensations of happiness.
Or safety. Or peace. Or health. Or great-paying work that feels important to you. Or the essence of what you wish to create more of in your life or on the planet.
I believe that it's only when we take time and responsibility to create a "spiritual blueprint" in this way that our lives most closely actually manifest the essences we are seeking.
Now, I don't feel that meditating or creating a blueprint is always enough. Sometimes maybe it is, but often we have to do the dang 3D legwork too.
For example, if I am sending out the "feeling" of my next perfect work opportunity, I may also have to network for career opportunities or watch the want ads or send my resume or put up my site on the web. Perhaps not - sometimes opportunities do just drop in our laps! But
what I know for sure is that we increase and speed up our chances at finding what we're seeking if we work on as many levels or dimensions as possible.
